PS4, Switch game launches in Japan on July 26, in the West in October
Nippon Ichi Software began streaming a character commercial on Thursday for Disgaea 1 Complete (Makai Senki Disgaea Refine), the HD remake of the first game in the series. The video highlights the character Flonne (voiced by Yuko Sasamoto).
The company previously streamed videos for Laharl and Etna.
The game will ship for the PlayStation 4 and Switch in Japan on July 26. This year marks the original game"s 15th anniversary; the original game shipped for PlayStation 2 in Japan in 2003. NIS America will release the game for PS4 and Switch in North America on October 9 and Europe on October 12.
NIS America will release the Disgaea 5 Complete game for the PC via Steam this summer after a delay from its original May 7 release date.
